Marked: Trifari with Crown (on one clip); KTF, on the body of the other
Reference: Advertised in a Vogue Feature 'Elegant Trifles of Gold and Glitter', 15 Feb 1938 p 135; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. Patent is reproduced below (scroll down); designer A Philippe, filed Jan 1938 (just after the Dec 1937 change of marks), granted March 1938 - explaining the differing marks on the two clips.
