Reference: Part of the Moonshell series, from which rhodium pin clips and earrings were advertised in Harpers Bazaar, Mar 1949, p 36; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. The single patent for the series (as Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 2 p 193, points out) was for a necklace - reproduced below (scroll down), filed Jan, granted March 1949. The necklace was produced in gold plate - see TKF2702 - and these earrings match it. The lucite shells in these earrings are exactly the same as in the more common rhodium earrings - compare TKF7891 ••Reference Links - tkf2702 tkf7891
