Reference: The clasp for the pin clip, gold Trifanium and spangles construction, and lack of reference to the patent in the marks, confirm this as a 1948 revival of the 1941 patent design (which was in pave and enamel). This 1948 version is shown in Schiffer, Best of Costume Jewelry, p. 107; and Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 2 p 95.
