Description: gold plated base metal, rhinestones, faux topaz crystal. This has probably been converted into a pin from being the central element of a bracelet - see reference below, and condition
Marked: Trifari with Crown
Reference: Part of a 1939 series, using 'striking combinations of shaded stones', described in Womens Wear Daily 28 July 1939 p 11, as 'Ombre stone' jewelry, contemporary with (rather than 'inspired by') the French exhibits at the then current NYC World's Fair. This is closely similar to the central element of a necklace advertised for sale at Stix Baer & Fuller, price $60 (matching bracelet, from which this pin was probably converted, not shown but priced $45),, in the St Louis Post Dispatch, 12 Dec 1939, p 5; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. See TKF7340 for another necklace from the series Reference Links - tkf7340

Size: 2" x 1.85"
Price: US$1575 ' - see our Sales Policies (link below) for any shipping charges
