Reference: Advertised for sale at Bonwit Teller, price $20,with matching (1948 patented) earrings, in the Philadelphia Inquirer, 13 Feb 1948, p 11; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. Womens Wear Daily, 16 Jan 1948, p 33, on Trifari's 'Renaissance series', 'traditional four leaf clovers, heart and clef designs in combinations of amethyst and pale sapphire, sapphire and topaz, crystal moonstones and rhinestones'. This 1948 series revived (hence 'Renaissance') several 1941 patents originally produced in rhodium and enamel.
