Marked: Clip mates (one clip), Pat No 2050804 (the other)
Reference: Patent is for the Trifari Clip Mate mechanism, granted 1936. See Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 2 p 66, a similar fruit salad clip dated 1936, and the clipmate patent. The lack of Trifari mark dates this to before Dec 1937
