Reference: Schiffer, Fun Jewelry, p. 106, pictured. Cera, Amazing Gems, p.34. Kelley & Schiffer, Costume Jewelry - The Great Pretenders, p. 118, Trifari insignia in colour. Use of sterling dates this to 1942-45. This is the insignia of the US Army Quartermaster Corps.
