Reference: Mark dates this to before 1955 - from the same series as the 1951 patented demilune mushroom, for which see TKF7057. The series name 'Rue de La Paix' was reported in Women's Wear Daily's description of Trifari's fall collection, 6 July 1951, p 13, mentioning 'leaves, flowers, turtles, mushrooms.. as well as abstractions'.
