Description: gold plated base metal, faux topaz crystals
Marked: Schiaparelli, Pat 156452 (on earring clips)
Reference: Patent is for clip mechanism, dated 1949. The stone is identical to the one used in the (always unsigned) Schiaparelli Lobster pin, to which these are matching signed earrings - see SSS1323.
