Description: gold plated base metal, poured glass, faux dark and pale amethyst crystals
Marked: unsigned Reference: Stones and construction are identical to SSS833, and construction to SSS683, designs copied from a Trifari patent, probably by the Reinad Chanel Novelty Company, which regularly took without authorization not only the Chanel name, but also many designs, some patented, from other companies. (See Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 1, 78-83, especially the copies of MB Boucher, Carnegie, and Mazer pieces (Ch5, Ch7, Re1, Re2).
