This figure depicts the trademark of Corday's 'Jet' Perfume, advertised as 'new' in November 1940 - eg at Mandel Borthers, in the Chicago Tribune, 18 Nov 1940, p 7; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. The last use of the trademark seems to be in late 1946.
