Reference: Advertised for sale at Morgan's in Montreal, with the other Mazer Coronation jewelry, price Can$30 and Can$20, in the Montreal [Quebec Canada] Gazette, 2 Feb 1953, p 233; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 1 p 244 (giving a 1949 date for some reason). The smaller crown (not a 'Queen's crown' - in 1953 the Queen wore the large crown) cost US$13.50 in Chicago that February.
