Reference: Advertised in the New York Herald Tribune, 11 Dec 1938, pg. 2A, for sale at Bergdorf Goodman in NY, price $10, with the Cowboy (also $10), and other Dujay jewelry. There were many inferior copies produced at the time, advertised at much lower prices - eg $1 - see DAZ2080. But the extreme fineness of construction, openwork settings, and the characteristic pin clip, confirm the attribution of this piece. The clip is identical to that of other Dujay pieces - see DUJ412 and reference there. Reference Links - daz2080 duj412
