Reference: Roger Jean Pierre production was prominently advertised and sold in the USA between 1959 and 1966, with the designer making several tours in person. A necklace using similar stones to this was advertised by LS Ayres & Co, price $100 plus tax, on one such tour, in the Indianapolis Star, 20 Oct 1962, p 42; click thumbnail above to view advertisement.
