Reference: A similar necklace (pictured below for reference - not available for sale) is signed with the Fishel Nessler mark (Sterling inside a fish with letter L). Rainwater, American Jewelry Manufacturers, p. 90 for the identification of that mark; cf Cera, Amazing Gems, p. 95, example of Deco Sterling Fishel Nessler jewelry dated 1930, with detail on the company, which operated until 1936.
