This was advertised in Womens Wear Daily, 19 July 1946, p 30, manufacturer Anita Eshay Fair Sex Jewels; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. The Eshay company was founded in early 1946 (WWD 12 Apr, p 18) and was last noticed in 1954. As Roberto Brunialti communicated (in 2003), this confirms Gargano was a freelance designer (also working for Carman etc).
