Description: gold and rhodium plated base metal, rhinestones, cabochon. The hands move freely. The clock face was originally pendant from a bow carrying the pin (see patent)
Marked: Des Pat 122218
Reference: Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 1 p 76. Patent is reproduced below (scroll down); designer Willard Markle, dated 1940
Condition: Very good - this has been converted from a pin to a pendant necklace; the chain is probably of later date.
Size: Chain length 25"; clock face 2.125" diameter
