The Knight pin on its own was advertised for sale at $25 plus tax, in the St Louis [MO] Globe Democrat, 13 Nov 1945, p 3; the Sword and Heart alone was advertised at $17.50 plus tax, in the Baltimore Sun, 5 Dec 1945, p 5. Patents, designer Adolph Katz, for the Sword (without heart), filed Jan, granted March; and for the knight, filed July, granted Dec 1945, are reproduced below (scroll down).
