Description: rhodium plated base metal, rhinestones, enamelling. The two bird pins slot onto a duette mecanism to be worn together as a pin.
Marked: unsigned
Reference: The mechanism is identical to Pat 1945268, patented by Fielding and Whitaker in Providence RI, 1933-34 - see DAZ2019. The attribution to Coro is clear from design and construction, particularly the flowers, suggesting Coro did not always use the classic 1931 Candas 1798867 duette patent. ••Reference Links - daz2019
