Reference: The mechanism patent (reproduced below) was filed Nov 1936 and granted March 1937, to Marcel Boucher personally (not as assignor to Mazer, for whom he was working then). He started his own company in March 1937 - Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 1 p 40.
