Reference: Mark dates this to after 1955 - mid - late 1950s. Schiffer, Best of Costume Jewelry (1996), p. 31, similar earrings. Ciro, a British company, opened in NY City in 1938 and bought in, and put its own stamp on, quality pieces designed and produced by other firms, including Trifari, Mazer, and Dujay, from the 1940s to the 1960s.
