Description: rhodium and gold plated base metal, rhinestones
Marked: MB (phrygian cap), 251, both
Reference: The MB mark with serial number dates this to between 1945-54. The serial number should be 4 digits. It cannot be 2251 (it would be sterling from 1945) or 3251 (a 1950 wheelbarrow pin), or 6251 (which would have a copyright C mark in 1955); this is therefore likely to have been a partial stamp for either 4251 (1952) or 5251 (1953).
