Reference: The trembler series, much of which was patented, was called 'Regence' by Trifari, as reported in Women's Wear Daily, 28 July 1939, p 11, 'copies of French paste court jewelry... very formal evening jewelry in flower designs, with moveable "shimmering" blossoms', including 'collar-like necklaces... evolved in gold with white stones and in color'; click thumbnail above to view article.
