Reference: Datable to 1940. Harrice Miller, Costume Jewelry, p. 115, and Ball and Torem, Masterpieces of Costume Jewelry, pp 118-9 for other 'Thief of Bagdad' pieces (inspired by Korda's 1940 film). Some were produced by Rice Weiner, and Roberto Brunialti persuasively suggests this was too: Tribute to America, pp. 168, 169
