Marked: Pin, Boucher, light stamped illegible serial number; Earrings, MB (phrygian cap), 51*4 (light stamping)
Reference: See Brunialti, Tribute to America, p.25 on the marks, which suggest a date at the changeover from MB to Boucher in 1950 (the serial number should start with 3, not 5; there's another example of an erroneous mark like this - BOU292. if the 51*4 is correct the date is 1953, and the MB is being used still for reasons of lack of space on the earring. ••Reference Links - bou292
