Marked: MB (phrygian cap), 2509 (twice), Pat Pend
Reference: Brunialti, Tribute to America, pp. 154, 155, reported in Womens Wear Daily March 1947 as one of four 'season' pins - one other (summer) was patented. Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 1, pp. 65-66 (along with Winter and Summer). Patent is reproduced below (scroll down); designer Marcel Boucher, dated 1947.
